Along with his work as L.A.’s “Urban Man,” on his blog at www.theurbanman.com, on the Huffington Post, KCRW-FM, and other venues, Marc Porter Zasada’s fiction and essays have appeared in The Antioch Review, NPR’s “All Things Considered,” The Los Angeles Times Magazine, the Los Angeles Times Book Review, The San Francisco Chronicle Book Review, BBC World Service and many other venues. He served as the Editor of the “Title Pages” book review at the Palo Alto Weekly and the Managing Editor of the Los Angeles Downtown News for many years. He was a founding member of the Bay Area Book Awards in 1982. In addition to his work in journalism and fiction, Marc co-founded and helped manage a major technology company from 1990 to 2001, and continues to work as a globalization services consultant to leading IT companies. Marc graduated from Stanford University and makes his home in los Angeles.
